FRAMECAD customers soaring ahead in innovation
FRAMECAD steel frame manufacturer Profils Caraïbes has won a major award for innovation in the Caribbean based on the work they have done in helping rebuild homes and public infrastructure in the wake of hurricane Hugo.
Owner of the company Patrick Irigoyen received the award in December last year after initially being short-listed along with three other companies.
The judges for the awards were especially impressed with Profils Caraïbes steel frame manufacturing system and were unanimous in their decision.
One project that was singled out by the judges was a school built in Circonvalltion, Guadeloupe using the FRAMECAD steel framing system.
The framing for the school was designed and manufactured by Profils Caraïbes over a two-month period enabling construction to be completed significantly faster than would be the case using traditional building systems.
