“What they like about this way of building is that the build quality is determined by the precision of the manufacturing system,” says FRAMECAD Product Development Manager, Jesse Staines “and the builders are pretty keen on it because it reduces the chance of human error.

“Because everything is manufactured precisely to specification, the components pretty much just clip into place on site, and there is less reliance on the skill level of tradespeople. With multi dwelling developments when you’re building a lot of homes or commercial buildings, quality control and consistency of quality are crucial”.

FRAMECAD Pre-hung doors

FRAMECAD pre-hung doors are an integral part of the FRAMECAD building system and effectively eliminate the need for skilled joinery tradespeople on site.

The doors are supplied in accordance with building schedules, with a timber sub-frame in a PVC casing, pre-hung with all fixtures and fittings included – door locks, handles and pre-finished architraves. Helping to eliminate unnecessary storage space and the chance of damage by other trades.

The door is hinged on lift-off hinges so they can be installed by simply lifting the door off the frame, fitting the frame into the wall, clipping on the architrave and replacing the door back on its hinges.
