Unique steel framing makes real brick homes easier to build

The planning and design processes are seamlessly integrated with frame manufacturing to ensure that each frame component is produced with precision accuracy specifically for brick veneer construction.

“Because the framing is so accurate, all the other processes go that much more smoothly,” says FRAMECAD Regional Director – Middle East and Africa, Nader R Elhajj.

“For instance, the studs and exterior sheathing can be constructed prior to laying the brick veneer wythe which allows the building to be closed in quickly.

“That means interior work can start pretty much straight away with brick masonry construction following at a convenient time.

“It also means other trades can be scheduled so that they won’t interfere with the masonry work.”

“Brick veneer has many advantages such as better thermal and acoustic performance, and of course there are those traditional aesthetic values which are hard to beat.”
