Choosing the correct fastener system is critical for not only ensuring the structural integrity of the building, but is also critical for building rapidly and profitably. FRAMECAD offers a complete range of screw fasteners, pneumatic pin fasteners, and all the associated tools to get the job done right. The FRAMECAD range has been developed with 3 key factors in mind – speed, durability & performance.

SPEED – All of our fasteners have been selected to optimise the speed and efficiency of the FRAMECAD building system. We recommend using collated screws in the factory environment with the Superdrive tool system, which reduces labour costs by making it quicker and easier to fix screws consistently. This is essential in developed markets, where the labour costs of installing the screw can be several times greater than the cost of the screw itself.

DURABILITY – Corrosion resistance is a critical part of the performance of not just the fastener, but the overall building structure. We offer fasteners with Zinc and Class 3 or 4 (per AS3566) finishes to suit different types of environmental conditions. Choosing the correct coating gives you peace of mind.

PERFORMANCE - All FRAMECAD fasteners have been tested to ensure they are compatible with our building system and meet relevant internationally recognized manufacturing standards. All products have been tested for shear strength, pull out load and corrosion resistance.

Screw Fasteners

FRAMECAD has worked closely with strategic suppliers to develop a complete range of specialist screws specifically for light gauge steel construction. The range includes screw fasteners for steel frame wall panel & truss assembly, exterior cladding, roofing, interior lining, flooring and other applications.

Pneumatic Pin Fasteners:

Pneumatically driven pins are the latest development in rapid construction. Specialised pins are available for fastening steel to steel upto 3mm thick, as well as fastening cladding, flooring and sheathing into light gauge steel framing. High pressure pins are also available for fastening into concrete. Pins can achieve similar performance values as screws, while being significantly faster to install, reducing the overall system cost.

Brackets and Connectors:

FRAMECAD offers a complete range of brackets and connectors that have been tested and approved for use in the most stringent markets. Because brackets form a critical link in the structural integrity of the overall building, it is essential to use brackets with known engineering values, and that are produced in quality assured manufacturing facilities. The FRAMECAD range of brackets and connectors includes anchors, hold-downs, multigrips, joist hangers, strap bracing, seismic and hurricane ties.
