FRAMECAD Insulbreak Combining 3 products in 1 – radiant barrier insulation, vapour barrier and thermal break – FRAMECAD Insulbreak is specifically designed for steel framed construction in hot climates. Using patented technology and high quality materials, Insulbreak is faster to install than traditional insulation, and offers greater durability over the lifetime of the building. The unique cellular core of Insulbreak provides an effective thermal break between the hot outside cladding, and the cool building interior, reducing thermal conduction through the steel frame. Available in a variety of thicknesses, Insulbreak delivers excellent thermal insulation for both walls and roofs.
FRAMECAD Radiant Heat Barriers In tropical and semi-tropical areas, over 90% of heat gain in a building is radiant heat, often gained through the roof. FRAMECAD radiant heat barriers are the perfect solution to prevent heat buildup. Using pure aluminium foil, high quality fibre glass reinforcement, and flame retardant adhesive, FRAMECAD radiant barrier offers outstanding performance and durability for many years. They can be used underneath metal and tile roofs, and are suitable for use in residential houses, commercial and industrial buildings. They can also be used as a vapour barrier, to prevent moisture and condensation build up, and will protect the insulation systems around air conditioning ductwork.
FRAMECAD Glasswool Suitable for mild or cold climates, FRAMECAD Glasswool islight weight and very easy to install in standard wall cavities, and even complicated wall cavities. FRAMECAD glasswool is durable, and is non-combustible. Manufactured using 80% recycled glass, and available in a range of thicknesses, FRAMECAD Glasswool can be used in ceilings, walls and under floors to provide thermal and acoustic insulation.
FRAMECAD Rigid Foam Panels Rigid foam insulation is ideal for very hot or very cold climates. Because it is suitable for use on the exterior side of metal framing, the thermal insulation of the wall is not limited by the depth of the stud. Fitting the rigid foam panel on the exterior makes installation faster, with no need to cut around studs and bracing, and this also eliminates thermal bridging. Available in thicknesses up to 100mm, FRAMECAD rigid foam insulation can be used to achieve wall systems with thermal conductivity (U Value) as low as 0.22w/m2K. The phenolic foam has a low risk fire rating, and the foil face of the panel is an effective moisture barrier. FRAMECAD Building Wrap Designed for use in roofs or external walls, FRAMECAD building wrap is strong, lightweight, and breatheable, to provide the ultimate in moisture and vapour control in your building.
