Beginners

Pre-Delivery Advice

A 1–2 day plant review of your intended product lines, factory production environment, staff capability and specific local requirements. Resulting in a report advising optimal production area layout, products handling processes and a staff pre-training schedule.

Commissioning

A 3-5 day course that assists with the pre-commissioning checklist (basic factory set up; consumables sourcing; service & customer liaison confirmation; and insurance, IT & power set up) and the commissioning checklist (machine and software installation and check; machine handling training; safe machine operation; basic software use; trouble shooting; support and warranty education; and basic framing assembly.

Intermediate

Additional Training Services

An additional service for clients who need extra on-site training or support in any of the following areas:

Advanced

Manufacturing / Operations Advice

An extension of the Commissioning course that runs over 3-5 days. Designed as an optimisation course to help you achieve the highest possible assembly efficiency. In particular around machine and accessories layout, assembly table design, assembly tools and fastening selection, transportation and logistics (finished framing), staff training and evaluation, information flow and performance measurement & benchmarking.

Construction Practices

A 3-5 day course covering cold formed steel construction methodologies, optimal site fastenings, fixings and specialised components as well as tools required for efficient structure erection. Training will also involve on-site frame erection and frame modifications.

Cost Control

A 1-2 day course offering systems, contacts and plans to optimise performance and therefore reduce costs associated with materials, labour, design & engineering and local code compliance.

Construction Systems – Design, Detailing and Specification

A 3-5 day course that establishes an optimal default construction system. The course combines FRAMECAD’s system knowledge with your local market knowledge taking into consideration architectural & environmental requirements, product refinement to suit your manufacturing strengths, engineered solutions, pre-fabrication and site fabrication.
