After commissioning their first ever FRAMECAD machine, Elemente Homes reached the break even point on their initial investment in just 13 months and is now shaping up to become one of India’s fastest growing LGSF design and build companies. “Our aim is to bring modular building technology to India using steel framing and to revolutionize the way buildings are designed and constructed in this region,” says Elemente director Anuj Sharma.
“Elemente Homes is one of the first companies in our region providing off-site solutions that deliver buildings in significantly less time than site-based traditional construction. Our zero tolerance manufacturing process offers a superior quality building, less waste and it’s far more environmentally friendly and safe.”
“The steel structural design conforms to a wide range of international building codes in America, Europe and Asia so we can use it with confidence.”
“Basically, I wanted to do something new and I thought that light gauge steel framing had a big future in India. So I got support from some private investors to assist in financing the investment to start Elemente Homes.” Since then, the company has grown rapidly and has completed a wide range of projects using light gauge steel framing.
“With this FRAMECAD technology, we can build much faster than with traditional methods and we can also provide superior value in just about every type of building including residential housing, low cost housing, resorts and guesthouses and potentially important infrastructure such as schools and health care facilities.
“The market in India is very competitive but FRAMECAD technology gives us a great advantage. We have some big assignments coming up.”
Anuj and his fellow directors at Elemente Homes are convinced that their move into light gauge steel framing is right for the future of their company and the future of the Indian construction industry. “We cannot continue building the old way, it is too slow. This FRAMECAD technology has been proven around the world and it is ideal for our country.”
