Auckland, March 2nd 2026 - FRAMECAD has announced the appointment of Aaron Wright as CEO.
Aaron will step into the role from his current position as FRAMECAD’s Chief Operations Officer, having joined the business in April 2024. Prior to this, he spent 18 years at Fonterra Co-operative Group in senior roles across New Zealand, the Middle East, and Europe. Founder and former CEO Mark Taylor steps into the role of Executive Director of the FRAMECAD Group.

FRAMECAD is the world’s most advanced end-to-end steel frame building system for both residential and commercial construction. FRAMECAD’s technology and design-led methodology is transforming the construction industry from traditional construction methods to cold-formed steel and off-site manufacturing.
Mark Taylor says the appointment of Aaron Wright is the culmination of FRAMECAD’s recent business transformation, which has resulted in a clear strategy and strong team in place to deliver it. “It’s an exciting time for FRAMECAD. With an excellent platform in place and great capability across our global team, we’re ready to embark on our next phase of growth and take the business to a new level. I plan to support Aaron in his capacity as CEO to deliver on our strategy with a focus on customer experience and the quality solutions that FRAMECAD is known for.”
FRAMECAD Non-Executive Chair Mike Riley says Aaron’s strong track record in the business made him the obvious candidate. “Aaron has been a key factor on the journey to prepare for a product-led growth strategy on a global scale. The market opportunity for the FRAMECAD building system is large and growing. The challenges of constantly changing building practices in an industry subject to accelerating climate change and materials shortages present enormous opportunities for FRAMECAD’s innovation and vision for the future of construction.”
Wright says he’s excited by the opportunity to build on FRAMECAD’s 40-year legacy as a successful New Zealand exporter of construction technology. “The global construction industry is one of the largest in the world, however, it has consistently had one of the lowest rates of productivity improvement. FRAMECAD has an opportunity to accelerate the adoption of technology in construction, reduce waste and accelerate build times. This is a huge opportunity for FRAMECAD to help improve the construction industry and secure its place as the global leader in steel frame construction technology.”
