FRAMECAD started in 1987, trading building products and supplying roll forming equipment. Fifteen years ago we identified the benefits of steel framing as a better alternative for building construction. We have developed technology & a presence in international markets to make us the worldwide leader in steel framing solutions to residential and commercial construction.

Company History

1987	Bon Pacific Trading was founded by Mark Taylor, based on his experience in the steel-based building sector. Main markets were in the Asia-Pacific region.
1998	Launched MetalForming Technologies (subsequently renamed FRAMECAD Solutions).
2001	Started marketing-driven growth into global markets beyond Asia-Pacific.
2004	Acquired a half share of software company, Lowman Consulting, and invested in improving software capabilities
2005	Set up manufacturing in New Zealand, Taiwan and Korea
2006	Set up distribution in Africa and Eastern Europe Launched the TF350 range of steel framing machines
2007	Opened Virginia, USA office
2008	Opened Australia and Dubai offices
2009	Finalist of Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year (Services). Awarded one of the Deloitte Fast 50 business growth awards. Moved to one brand across the businesses – FRAMECAD. Launched F300i range of steel framing machines – designed and manufactured in Auckland, New Zealand. Launched ‘Factory in a Can’ – our mobile factory solution.
2010	Opened the FRAMECAD Tech Park in Auckland, New Zealand Amalgamated machine design & production, design services and software development all under one roof in Auckland, New Zealand Launched the FL650 flooring machine, fully manufactured in New Zealand. Doubled the size of the Dubai and Australia Offices Consolidated all business under “FRAMECAD Holdings Limited”
