FRAMECAD CertifiedTested and Certified for Buildings all around the WorldFRAMECAD technology and manufacturing cold-formed steel systems can be confidently used for buildings anywhere in the world because they have been independently certified by the world’s most recognised quality assurance systems and organisations. Why is this important? In the past, building standards and regulations varied widely from region to region and country to country. The FRAMECAD fully automated roll forming machines produce light gauge steel profiles that are fully compliant with IBC 2006, IRC 2006, the Eurocode, and the SASFA code. Who is the ICC?The International Code Council (ICC) is a worldwide association that establishes codes for building safety and sustainability in residential and commercial buildings, community infrastructure and public facilities. The ICC developed a complete set of comprehensive and co-ordinated building codes (I-Codes) that regulate and set minimum standards for the building and construction industries. Of these I-Codes, the International Building Code (IBC) and the International Residential Code (IRC) have been adopted and are used throughout the US and other countries such as the UAE. The ICC Evaluation Services (ICC-ES), a subsidiary of ICC, carries out technical evaluations of building products, components, methods, and materials to ensure compliance with the IBC and/or the IRC. Having ICC accreditation gives planners, specifiers, developers and builders a high degree of confidence and certainty when dealing with building authorities, even in regions or countries where building regulations are under-developed.
