Accessibility at FRAMECAD

FRAMECAD is committed to making our website and software accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities.

Standards we work to

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium.

WCAG 2.0 Level AA is the technical standard incorporated into the Revised Section 508 Standards (36 CFR Part 1194) that apply to information and communications technology procured by United States federal agencies.

We also work to EN 301 549, the European standard for accessibility requirements for ICT products and services, which is referenced by the European Accessibility Act.

Current status

This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the standard. Accessibility is an ongoing commitment rather than a one-off project. We review and update this website on a continuing basis to improve accessibility, and we prioritise the areas most used by our customers. New and updated content is assessed as it is published.

How we assess this website

Our assessment combines automated testing with manual review. Automated checks are run using the axe accessibility engine and Google Lighthouse. Manual review includes keyboard-only navigation and testing with screen reader software.
