Aaron Wright has recently joined the team at FRAMECAD as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). He comes with a wealth of expertise gained over 18 years at Fonterra where he held diverse roles, across various capacities. His international experience encompassed positions in Europe and Dubai, where he served as the Finance Director for EMEA. He played a pivotal role in steering the commercial function of the region, emphasizing his strategic leadership and financial skills.
In his role as General Manager Planning and Performance, he spearheaded the transition of Fonterra's largest business unit, COO, by crafting and instilling a strategic, integrated and long-term planning process. This initiative was underpinned by a commitment to world-class performance delivery, fundamentally shaping how COO managed its business and prioritized strategic initiatives.
Aaron played a crucial role in steering the company through the challenges of its inaugural year amid the Covid pandemic, in his role as CFO at Kotahi, a Fonterra joint venture with Silver Fern Farms. He was instrumental in forging essential partnership agreements and taking the lead in mergers and acquisitions activities, all geared towards optimizing the long-term, sustainable value of the business.
Most recently, he served as the Program Director for the Source to Pay Program at Fonterra. This key project focused on implementing efficient enabling technology solutions and steering change, delivering benefits from a procurement function overseeing more than $3 billion in expenditure.
Aaron will play a crucial role in leveraging his experience and bringing valuable insights to the finance team at FRAMECAD. His focus will be on fortifying the finance function and ensuring enhanced visibility into business performance delivery. Additionally, he will provide strategic commercial leadership, supporting the business in successfully executing its overall strategy.
