FRAMECAD Detailer 5.1 updates deliver a range of new features and product enhancements providing increased design speed and flexibility, improved efficiency, and accuracy.
We continue to refine and improve our software and release these updates to FRAMECAD network partners free of charge. This allows you to be more productive in your design, engineering, and manufacturing.
All FRAMECAD software releases include planned upgrades from our comprehensive product development road map. These are further refined and updated based on direct customer feedback and requirements.
FRAMECAD® Detailer 5.1 updates include:
Stud positioning improvements
- Studs can now be added, moved, or deleted in the plan, improving workflows and increasing the speed of design.
- Stud selection can be temporarily disabled for easier item selection when detailing.
- New commands allow placement of full height single, back-to-back, or face-to-face studs from both plan and elevation views.
Map sections tool
- List and filter all sticks in plan or frame.
- Machine setups and section setups can be updated for multiple sticks at the same time.
- This tool can also be used to relabel or change stick usage.
Extra opening jamb studs
- Specify the number of additional studs beside openings, speeding up design time.
Improved framing options
- There are additional fill types for use in wall opening headers, sills, and the autoframe script.
Other features
- Relabel frames command to rename and renumber frames resulting in faster design time
- Various performance improvements
- Other user interface improvements
All new features in this release are added to FRAMECAD Detailer 5.1 for your convenience. All updates are available at no additional cost to your current FRAMECAD software license.
